Story Overview

Anita and Carolyn, who are best friends, were abducted for ransom. They find themselves aboard a ship and they presumed their destination was to be sold on the Black Market. When they docked, the two were separated.

Chris's Role

A young man, Chris, was asked to nurture Anita back to health, but when he found out that her father was a well-known criminal lawyer consultant, he helped her to escape.

Her Dilemma

Now home in safety she faces the dilemma: should she stay and try to rebuild her life or go back to find Carolyn. Her decision was to go back and manipulate her father into joining her crusade.

Escalating Conflict

Their lives become entwined with a tyrant mogul and Anita becomes suspicious of her father's activities after her brother is bludgeoned to death.

Teamwork and Challenges

Chris and Anita become a team and together they face many perils, deceit, and challenges in her quest to find Carolyn.
