This book is designed to help doctors, nurses, and medical assistants communicate in Spanish with Latino patients and their families who have little or no command of English.

Every Spanish word in the book is followed by its phonetic pronunciation. The book also provides easy-to-follow tips on understanding colloquial spoken Spanish.
