Author's Journey
Guerra Sensei takes us on his martial arts journey and the reason he learned Karate as self defense in February 1966. His training development in Okinawan SORYU KARATE under the strict brutal training of Alvarado Sensei made him into a formidable warrior. With no fear, he took on all challenges and made his opponents run from him. Street fighters and martial artists respect him.

Achievements
In January 2006, he was promoted by the late Soryu Karate founder Michio Koyasu to the 7th Dan. In July 2013, he was promoted by his Sensei, Grandmaster Joe Alvarado, to the 8th Dan.
