Marilyn grew up in the quiet countryside of Livonia, Michigan. Growing up, she saw her hometown virtually boom into a thriving community. Her wholesome family life laid the groundwork that gave her the courage to face life's storms.

During her teen years she faced one night that ended in a tragic auto accident. God used it as a turning point in her life to totally change her perspective. Awakening to full paralysis from her chest down, she cringed from her doctor's stinging words, You’ll never walk again!

Her Journey of Faith and Success

She sought to discover why God had spared her life. Through it all she has risen above adversity to successfully become a qualified teacher, coach, artist, loving mother, and wife.
