Synopsis

Teenager Josie Gonzales is viciously raped and impregnated by an uncle in the Northern Philippines, and is taken to Manila by her mother out of embarrassment and for an abortion. She is placed under the tutelage of her auntie, Anna, who introduces her to the world of prostitution in an Ermita brothel. Through the next few years, Josie learns the working girl business and what men really want. After several negative experiences, she is determined to better her life with college and earn a law degree to help those less fortunate than herself.
