About the Characters

Molly Cervantez is a prim and proper Kriol teacher from Belize City. Sergeant Eutimio (Stephen) Chiac is a coarse and rough soldier.

The Journey

Journey with them through the pristine and mysterious jungle of the Cockscomb Basin, Belize, as they are hurled into the dangerous world of the dreaded Sisimito and the Jungle Folk, the Kechelaj Komon. Walk with them as they travel to the majestic Maya city of Ox Witz Ha (Caracol) where Stephen plays the ball-game and must win in order not to be sacrificed. Molly has to dive into the Sacred Cenote and be returned to the surface alive by the Maya Gods.

The Final Confrontation

Then, along with the King of Ox Witz Ha, they must face the advancing forces of K'uxaj, Lord of Maxam (Naranjo). Experience the magnificence. Behold the beauty. Live the terror. Suffer the fear. Embrace the adventure.
