Short Hair Is Awesome Too is the story of an eight year old girl named Mackenzie. Like most girls her age, Mackenzie seems to pay attention to the qualities she does not have, rather than the ones she does. This is a story of self-discovery, of learning to love the skin you are in and being truly thankful for all the qualities you possess. While at the same time, recognizing that each and every one of us is our own unique piece of art.
