About the Book

"A Shepherd's Life" is a 1910 novel by Argentinian naturalist and author William Henry Hudson. Through his wanderings, Caleb meets many different people ranging from poachers and gypsies, to farmers and labourers - all of whom are trying to live on the land. A masterful blend of fiction, memoir, reminiscence and oral history, "A Shepherd's Life" is highly recommended for all lovers of the English language.
