About the Book

I wrote this book during a very difficult time in my life. During this time I had a great deal of emotional highs and lows, traumatic events, amazing miracles, growth, and reflection. My poems are the raw expression of those experiences.

My feelings weren't always pretty or things I was proud of, but they were - and are - mine. I hope reading this inspires you to connect with yours as well, and accept yourself completely and unequivocally.

Just as the ocean refuses no rivers, we too should embrace all our light and shadows with love.
