About the Book

A menopausal woman’s search for what matters, and a challenge to the myth that all older women want to remain sexually active.

The aim of this book is to tackle head-on, in a frank, sensitive and intelligent way, what it’s like to be postmenopausal. It explores sexual taboos in older women at the same time as considering how meaning and purpose changes as women grow older. The book includes interviews with partners of menopausal women who struggle to make sense of what is happening to their relationship, and have no idea where to look for help.
