Author's Purpose

In this book, he has fulfilled what he said in the opening chapter: "My personal story isn't significant. What I hope to address in this book is who I am, what I stand for, and how I came to be here. My hope is that by baring my soul I may somehow make a difference. I am an ordinary person with nothing that makes me more special than the next guy. But each of us is unique and capable of contributing to the good of humanity. And I have always longed to make a difference."
