Meeting and Love

Meeting at a charity dinner and continuing to meet, Jason and Virgin Marigold knew they were in love.

After the First Visit

At Jason's home after her first visit for Sunday lunch, as Marigold was changing afterwards for riding in the wood, through the open windows she heard Jason's mother, Lady Norton, discussing her. We mustn't encourage her. She would be unsuitable for Jason. With her infamous aunts' many affairs, she would drag his career down.

Jason's Future and Heartbreak

He will be taking Silk and then going on to be a Judge. Heartbroken, Marigold fled to Cornwall to be with her ex-nanny before she started work in her aunt's fashion store. Jason, knowing where to find her, followed her, and they were given a second chance.
