About the Author

As a mother who was left to raise her sons, Dominique and Jeremy as a single parent. The journey that saw Alexandra and her sons leaving their home country of Germany to make a promised life in the United States as a military family was not as it was initially envisioned. Years of struggling to have a normal life, culminated in two young men that started to pursue their own goals. Dominique's incarceration was a major blow to her ideal outcome, but the will and determination to see her sons succeed was the driving force she needed to spend day and night making sure the family survived.

Milestones and Turning Points

In preparation for her 50th birthday celebration as well as the grand opening of Jeremy's barbershop, her excitement intensified to see the beauty of two major milestones and everything was finally coming together.
