Sarah's Story

Sarah's Story is an historic novel based on the life of Sarah Coleman Meukow. Sarah grew up with a hard childhood in the confederate south. She lost her father as a child. Her mother married an abusive older man to support herself and her daughters.

At a young age, she joined one of the final wagon trains headed west. The novel tells of her childhood trials, adventures crossing the country, where she met people who influenced her future and her life in Eureka California.

It tells of her introduction to Albert, a sea captain, who she claimed was German royalty until her dying day.
