The Journey Begins

The journey for this book started with our Great Grandkids. When Sadie came to us from the breeder, she was 9 weeks old and a bundle of energy. We raised puppy’s before, but we were not the main characters in our puppy’s lives. Our children were.

Capturing Memories

Because of this technical age we live in, we started making cell phone videos about raising a puppy at our age. Before long, our great grandkids started wanting to see more videos and that started their interest in “Sadie”.

Sadie’s Story

When we looked at those videos, we noticed Sadie was telling us her story about growing up a “Baker”. We decided to put pen to paper and write down what she was telling us. The result is this book.
