Book Synopsis

BARBARA doesn’t know it, but all her suffering derives from a secret surrounding her birth. Her father, LEONARDO, forces her to accept a marriage with a bankrupt stranger, VIDAL, to save his fortune. She takes advantage of this opportunity to flee from the abuse she has suffered in the past.
