Author Daniel Decker

is secluded in a cabin nestled in the Rocky Mountains to write his next novel. Rescuing the victim of a skiing accident, he discovers the woman is Karen Archer, whom he knew from college. This reunion in the Rockies rekindles the flame of love in his heart for her and inspires him to write a book about the rescue and ensuing relationships. He also hopes to capture the love of his life with it.

An interesting twist develops as things that happened to the characters in his book begin to occur in reality.
