Resort

Resort is a property that lends itself to vacationers, recreation, or leisure activity because of its natural resources or beauty, or its improvements. Beaches, lakes, golf courses, and ski resorts are all considered resort properties. Resorts are places, towns or sometimes commercial establishment operated by a single company. Towns which are resorts " or where tourism or vacationing is a major part of the local activity " are sometimes called resort towns. If the resorts or tourist attractions are seasonal in nature (such as a ski resort), resort towns typically experience an on-season where the town is bustling with tourists and workers, and an off-season where the town is populated only by a small amount of local year-round residents.
