The book attempts to explore the Bhakti Movement in Medieval India beginning from 7th century to 18th century. It also highlights the attitude of the male Bhaktas to women and creation of an alternate space by the women sources like inscriptions and literary texts have been used and traced the growth and development of the Bhakti movement in the country. It supplements the history on social and religious aspect of medieval India.
