Introduction

This book is collection of reflections on some aspects of higher education, which have received little or no attention. The aim of the book is to induce/encourage FREE thinking on different aspect of higher education. This exercise along with implementation should lead to much desired CHANGE; there is no dearth of experts to work out a blueprint for implementation.

Key Emphases

We have emphasized a critical aspect in higher education viz. emotional intelligence which is necessary for getting and advancing in a job and for happy personal as well as social life.

Next profit, which is practiced on a significant scale but usually not recognized, is visualized as an instrument for excellence.

We have also emphasized the need for thought and action on enhancement of employability, entrepreneurship, education plus, relevance of coaching institution.

Many aspects of indiscipline in universities have also been reflected upon.
