Introduction

From tiny microorganisms, insects to wild and domesticated ones, man has coexisted with animals and has been greatly influenced by them. This led to genesis of extensive research on wider areas of animal science to get a better understanding of animals to yield better services for man and vice versa. Unfortunately, today many implications have emerged from this man animal coexistence which includes poaching, habitat destruction, acceleration in zoonotic diseases, parasitic infections, decline in animal biodiversity and loss of gene pool. The chief focus of animal studies today is to conserve there biodiversity and preserve them for the progeny.

About the Book

The present book entitled Recent developments in Veterinary and Zoological Sciences is a constellation of research work on diverse fields of animal research such as Veterinary sciences, Entomology, Parasitology and Wildlife.
