About the Book

This book contains my approach to Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) which preserves its foundations but connects it to the broader field of psychotherapy.

REBT has become somewhat disconnected from psychotherapy in general, and from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in particular, and its important contributions are not easily accessible to those entering the field.

One of the purposes of this book is to reconnect REBT with the mainstream field of psychotherapy and to restore its place in the CBT tradition.
