Carolyn and Justin's Boating Adventure

Carolyn and Justin are on another boating adventure. On the way to the boat rental, Carolyn buys a "purple purse" at a thrift shop. What is it? Can they bring it on the boat?

This time they are going boating on the Bass River where they can do both river and ocean boating. There's a storm brewing and, luckily, they have the know-how and the safety equipment to get back.

To open the "purse" would be wrong under these circumstances. They'll just have to wait to open it when they get home.
