Plot Summary

Twenty-Six-year-old Astro-Physicist Dr. Quinten Trent makes a profound discovery that will dramatically alter the method for obtaining earth orbit, with a potential breakthrough in space travel. He subsequently departs from his secure, continually funded, scientific research life, and the mathematical child prodigy steps into an unfamiliar world as he develops his gravitational technology.

The plan quickly turns into much more than the naive Quinten Trent was prepared for, and with the help of his longtime friend and computer wizard Gunjit Bir, they attempt to prevent the technology from falling into the control of Government agencies, Military Defense Contractors and Foreign Governments.

Quinten's resolve to hold on to his dream, the greatest discovery of modern man that will open the doorway to space, will be tested as he adapts to survive. With his convictions guiding him, he learns that secrets are hard to keep, and the price for success cannot always be measured.
