CHESS is a profound reflection of intention

embodying strategic thought, foresight, and decision-making. Each game is a dialogue between minds, where the clarity of intention can lead to triumph or defeat. Each move on the board is not merely a reaction to the opponent’s actions but a manifestation of the player’s intent.

From the opening moves, players establish their strategies — whether aggressive, defensive, or opportunistic— shaping the game’s trajectory. Whether in a game or in real life, Intention encompasses long-term planning and psychological warfare.

Participants must consider their own objectives while anticipating competing responses. These competing responses are what I call ‘the problems of intention’.
