The book provides an insight into relevant anatomy, epidemiology, chemotherapeutic agents used in specific cancers and adverse effects, preoperative assessment and optimization, perioperative challenges specific to the procedure, fluid management, anesthetic techniques perioperative pain management options, post-operative complications and management of oncosurgical cases in detail. It provides information regarding management of oncological emergencies such as tumour lysis syndrome, acute stridor, SVC syndrome, malignant spinal cord compression, febrile neutropenia.
