Charlotte Woods and the Haunted House

This is the story of Charlotte Woods, who once found an old photograph of a ruined house. She felt drawn to the ruins, and her unexpected good fortune of winning the lottery enables her to fulfil her dream of rebuilding it.

When she visits the local pub, she meets Adam Dennington, with whom she was destined to fall in love. Adam tells her about the haunting of the house she has just rebuilt. She is to find out for herself whether it is true or just an old wives tale.

The Old Pendant and the Legend

Then she finds an old pendant with the picture of a man painted on the centre stone, which, according to legend, Adam says was cursed by an old witch.
