Poetry Inquiry

I''d like to ask, what is poetry?
I have no idea if you ask me
Perhaps fleeting up the history
Might just reappear for you to see
I wrote these poems not in the know
If it makes variety of sense
To any, but sudden urge to show
To grow onward by taking a chance
One could gain interesting insight
And begin writing without a fight!
