All the Stars in Between
About the Author and Works
Mr. Douglas Anthony Driver is the founder of several entrepreneurial companies, or little commercially known entities, such as The DRIVER TALENT Company, DAD Productions, Ultrasonic Movement Incorporated, and Douglas Anthony Driver Enterprises. All are musically inclined endeavors. This volume is collectively the last remainder of that era of the eighties and nineties and the visions thought then to now. Currently, Douglas Anthony Driver's music publishing concern is in association with ASCAP as a writer/publisher member.
This is the first truly solo effort as a writer of spoken word, with musical accompaniment of these individual works. Contact The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers aka ASCAP. In this original form, these works attempted for the major marketplace as an artist himself, instead of talent scouting others.
Contents of the Volume
Contents include less distributed works from The ESSENCE of Douglas Anthony Driver Volumes I, II, and III, plus popular poems from the earliest writings FEEL-IT, Jazzology cultural blend intensity, IN ALL THE WISDOM, and SHADES OF SOUL. Also included are lesser-known works Spiral IN/OUT (IT), Silverbowl, and Bronze Medal (poet of merit, Noblehouse Publishing, USA/U.K., poet fellow nominated, and highly received in Ireland 2004-2006). The collection features Editors' Choice Award from the International Society of Poets.
This volume includes sonnets, dedications, philosophies of observation of everyday life—topics that resonate with many. The collection offers something for everybody on many levels, with 100 poems of spoken word works by popular demand. This inspired the production of Jay Imotion (The Tony Driver Sr. collection), available since January 2009.
Additional Works and Recognition
Indiosycreies of the Poor (February 27, 2005) and other works were recited at various venues including Bronx Community College, the International Society of Poetry Convention at Disney World (February 25-27, 2005), and the International Poetry Convention in Washington, D.C. (August 19-21, 2005). On July 23, 2005, Leadcrystal awarded GIVERS as one of the best poems and poets of 2005, recognized over three times by the International Society of Poetry.
