My Testimony

As I walked inside the little church house
my mind drifted back to a day
when I was a lost sinner
and didn''t know how to pray.

The church then begin singing
of how Jesus wanted to save
and on the old cross of Calvary
to us his life he gave.

Then in the back I heard shouting
prayers to Jesus on high
I know in my heart that moment
Hell was my home if I died.

Then something inside of me happened
the spirit of Jesus took hold
I knew the Altar was waiting
and to it I must go.

At the Altar I knelt on my knees and to the Lord I did pray
then a small voice from Heaven said, get up my child you''re saved.

Today I''m so thankful that the Lord cared enough for me
he gave me a home in Heaven
he saved me and set me free..
