Planning and Economic Growth (1965)

is an analysis of the problem of unemployment in an over-populated, under-developed economy, and of the relation of investment to employment.

It goes on to look at the effect of planned economic development on relative prices, in terms of intersectoral expenditure flows, as well as dealing with certain international aspects of economic growth, with special reference to the problem of balance of payments in a developing economy.
