Pee Wee Reese played shortstop for the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1940 to 1957. He played in nearly 2200 games and had a lifetime batting average of .269. While with the team, the Dodgers won six National League Pennants.
Post-Playing Career and Honors
In 1959, he became one of the first baseball sports broadcasters. He was inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame in 1984.
