Introduction

Darkness & Light, Knowledge & Ignorance, Failure & Success, and Positive & Negative — they all are like two sides of the same coin. It is how we think and look at things that makes all the difference.

Since my childhood, I had an inclination toward observing things as they happen in our day-to-day lives. I have felt that in many cases, there are small changes that could be brought in a person's life with proper guidance from parents, teachers, and seniors.

Also, I have seen how the world is changing with development and more pressure on natural resources and the environment due to the increasing population and mismanagement by people who could really stop this if they are sincere.

Furthermore, I have looked at how world leaders and leading nations can work together to ensure a better future for the next generation. I have tried to focus on changes that are practical and possible to implement if things are viewed from a different perspective.

I have taken practical incidents like the recent financial crisis to illustrate how the world can be put at risk due to the actions and greed of a few people, especially if there are no proper checks and balances that are practical and effective in real terms.
