The first section of this book asks whether the Christian claims are true, addressing arguments for and against the existence of God, the historical validity of the New Testament, and Jesus's claims about himself.

Second Section: What It Means to Be a Christian

The second section asks what it means to be a Christian. Why is it so hard to be a Christian? How do you find your unique role within the broader Christian mission? How do you live today in light of the eternal Christian hope?
