God as the Perfect Parent

God is the only perfect parent; it is appropriate that we should choose him as our mentor in parenting. A lot of the behaviors that irritate us in our child, God has experienced with us—tantrums, questioning, disobedience, defiance, crying, and begging. He has experienced them all with us and still calls us his children.
