Open Access Resources and Library Services

Open Access and the resources are being used by the libraries for information processing, storage, communication, dissemination of information, innovative services etc. Recognizing the advantages application of Open Access, the librarians are essential to provide the facilities and services to their user community.

To provide fast, integrated, interactive and comprehensive services to their users, the libraries must engage to modernize their operations and their services with the use of open access resources. Today, the open access resources play a vital role in providing valuable information free of cost round the clock.

About the Volume

This edited volume consists of 16 papers from Library and Information Science professionals at the national level under five themes such as, i) Open Access Resources for Learning Environment, ii) Open Access and Open Science, iii) Research on Open Access Repositories, and iv) Studies in Open Access Resources and Tools.

The editors are confident that this volume will be a valuable addition to the library and information science literature.
