Synopsis

Half drowned and desperate after leaping into a river to escape an assailant,
Ming Corally drags herself to the gates of Julian Barrisford's home.

Julian takes her in. But his wife seizes on the excuse to file a divorce petition -
an action which threatens to destroy both Julian and the innocent girl he has
saved.
