Introduction

This is the second installment of the Big Popi and Li'l Freckles series. Their love for each other is stronger than ever and the violent assaults on these good people continue unabated. After a deadly attack on their jet liner, they are stranded on a desert isle in the Pacific Ocean.

Captivity and Rescue

Popi is captured by communist rebels and sold to Yemeni terrorists. Layla starts a world-wide search for her husband and enlists the aide of the President. After months of brutal imprisonment, he is rescued by the US Navy and reunited with his dear Li'l Freckles who said, Popi seemed to be in fairly good shape, I mean emotionally. Physically, he is dreamier than ever. I've always thought he is at his handsomest when he is a little beat up.

Popi's Inner Struggle

Popi thought he had the gunslinger's curse, causing every hot shot wannabe to want to be the one to outdraw him. Beyond his typical dashing facade, Popi was hurting from all the killing he'd had to do in protection of Layla. He said, They are haunting me. They aren’t the spirits of the dead, but rather dream images who urge me to join them in the hell of my own making.

Climax and Uncertainty
