About the Book

This book is a gathering of words that speak of personal experiences, influences that came from working in the Social Service sector, while interjecting my love of humor and some spiritual moments.

I started to write poetry about fifty years ago when nature presented me with new awakenings to its beauty and our connection. It started just out of the blue and happily hasn't stopped.

From the coyote that appears on my street to the hummingbird enjoying sap on the tree on the front lawn, they have all inspired me. Everything that presents itself to me is poetry; it's up to me to respond to it.
