Book Overview

This is a compelling adventure about a black woman born in Michigan in the mid 1950s and as a child surviving accidents after accidents that could have been tragedy to her life, but by her strong will and deep rooted faith she managed to triumph though it all.

It tells about her struggle to raise her children as a single parent, her bad relationships with her men friends and children's fathers, divorce, Church involvement and the love for Jesus that kept her from falling apart and held it all together.

Dealing with not being accepted as a person or measuring up to her full potentials but still managed to accomplish her goals and kept a positive attitude, compassion, and the belief that you can be what and who you set your mind out to be.
