Story Overview

The story is about a young woman who has been struggling in life with her family background history. This history doesn’t just concern her family but herself as well.

Her Fears and Love

The main thing that she’s afraid of is losing the man she has only loved, "Deng", whom she dearly loved with all her heart. But also knowing that there is no way she could ever have him just kills her inside.

Regrets and Lies

The fact that she lied to Deng and let Deng believe that she didn’t care about him is the regret she then realizes. But it was too late.

Her Background and Uncertainty

She’s also living under her family’s shadow. This background was the start of her not knowing what the future holds for her. She’s a young woman raised by her uncles and only knows the life of men, without knowing her biological parents or the love of a family.

Questions of the Future

But for how long will it take her to let go of the past and live in the present? Will she win over the love of her man Deng? Who knows, or will she learn to let go of what is not meant for her?
