About the Book

It was a matter of life and death when Rodney L. Barnes suffered an accident that led to a major traumatic brain injury, coma, and relearning everything again at the ripe age of twenty-one. Miraculously, he was given a second chance to live. At the age of forty-two, Barnes became inspired to write and publish his autobiography, My Miracle.

Based on the events leading up to the accident and his survival after his injuries, My Miracle shares experiences that might contribute to events in our own lives. From past to present, Rodney has learned not to struggle with life, but to accept all it has to offer.

Principles and Inspiration

At the center of Rodney's upbringing was always the ordinary principle of life: take nothing for granted. During his post-injury recovery, he came to understand this principle more profoundly. Despite this major setback, he accomplished unbelievable goals.

His Message

Today, Rodney chooses to give credit of all of his successful accomplishments to the Lord Jesus Christ, who was his strength during his journey of healing. As survivor and author of the events in My Miracle, Rodney's deepest hope is for his story to reach those in need of comfort and strength during life's unexpected trials.
