What do milk, lemon, berry, and undies have in common, hmmm?

The book is based on many years of teaching primary grade children. Many of them were latchkey kids. These were neighborhood children whose parents/parent worked long hours or had physical, emotional, or addiction problems. I was always amazed that they were more attentive, responsible, and smart. Brenda represents some of those children.
