Mr. Tedd Fredd, a curious and clever bat being, leaves his home and family to find out more about humans and discovers a new and exciting world.

As he explores this sometimes dangerous new world, he needs all his wits (and explosive bum bags) to manage to survive.

Escaping attempts on his life and a terrifying experience at the gates of Hell, Mr. Tedd Fredd learns his family and friends are now in peril.

Returning home, he has to use all his new skills to prevent an all-out war between humans and bats that could end with the extinction of his family and friends.
