Setting and Background

This story is set in the far future, a thousand years after an asteroid has destroyed civilization.

Tia has just begun her life. She has trained to be a healer, although she wanted to learn magic.

Characters and Motivations

All she has in the world is her training and her giant draft horse Dollar.

Then a fabled Eldaran rides in, seeking a healer. He has a magic crystal.

Plot and Conflict

Maybe they can make a trade if she is willing to give up all that is familiar... perhaps forever.
