Michael survived the Holocaust and journeyed to America, where he and his wife Helen raised a family and built one of New Jersey's premiere real estate development companies.

Michael Kaplan pioneered affordable housing in New Jersey, and against all odds and obstacles, created a successful family business through hard work and determination.
