Story Summary

Mei Ling is a baby Panda who along with her mother is being sent on loan from China to a zoo in Canada.

There is a mixup at one of the stops on the way and Mei Ling ends up in Alaska.

There she is found and rescued by a young Alaskan girl called Nolee.

The story ends with the joyous reunion of mother and baby at the zoo in Canada.
