Introduction

The influential Temple of Nieubi has dominated the land for many decades, resulting in the spiritual stagnation of its inhabitants. Xenia, a beautiful young temple scribe, is sent to a neighboring province to tutor the son of Vondran, a powerful landowner, who not only tries to seduce her but also wants her to reveal secret temple information. Further, a strange old man reveals to her a secret word that can bring spiritual freedom to those who chant it hidden from the masses for many years by the temple elders.
