Introduction

Years and years ago, one of nine-year-old Lydia M. Abrahams ancestors created a special mask. Beautiful, and constructed with the purest of fabrics, the mask has special abilities; it makes wishes come true. Passed down from generation to generation, the mask's special power had all but been forgotten. Lydia is very upset when the mask disappears from her home in Canada, only to reappear years later in London.

The Setting and Conflict

It's in London that a criminal, recently released from prison, finds Lydia's mask, discovers its wonderful powers, and begins to use those powers for evil purposes. Determined to regain possession of her mask and restore law and order, Lydia travels to London. She and Samuel Harden embark on an adventure that's filled with many twists and turns.

The Climax

As Sebastian the criminal wreaks havoc, Lydia and Samuel are in a race against time to save others from the evil wishes of one man.
