About the Author

I'm seventy two years old. I started writing poetry when I was in the third grade of school.

I'm a Member of the Sidney United Church. I'm the Secretary of the Sidney United Womens Fellowship.

I have been employed by the Chicago Police Department, and I was a Counselor for Edge Water Uptown Mental Health Emergency Services.

I was in Nursing for twenty years. I retired in 2002.
